Bright!! Red Light Torch or Flashlight
I am interested in Red light / Red beam torches ( flashlights ) because red light preserves night vision, and I am interested in astronomy - looking at stars and planets.
I have a 210 lumen G&R XG01 flashlight (unfortunately the FC-XG01, not the F-XG01-C version) which also has a Red mode, as well as Green and White light - from another, (UK) supplier. Comparing the Red light from the Ultrafire and the G&R flashlights, the Ultrafire WF-501B is far brighter.
The reflector on the Ultrafire is the "orange peel" type, but it has both good "throw" and "spill" - it illuminates the central area in front of it very brightly as well as providing OK brightness away from the centre.
Very useful if you need a bright Red light in the darkness for seeing uneven ground.
Speed of delivery was about 18 days, from China to Ireland, (a long distance), but postage was free. I am very pleased.
