Surprisingly Good!
I agree with the previous 3 reviews and I too run my head torch on Rechargeable Batteries with a capacity of 900mah. The torch is well balanced and light on the head. The band looks very much like LED Lenser brand and the light produced is not far behind the Lenser. There are 3 levels of light Full, Low and flashing. On full beam the current drawn is approx 300ma, but on Low (which is quite useful and not that low) the current drawn is only 50ma so this would run 12-15hours by calculation on rechargeable Nimh batteries. The beam can be focussed from spot to flood and one curious feature of this and another CREE Led torch which I purchased from Focalprice is that the spot beam produces a almost perfect rectangular spot.

As expected
Headlight works as expected, which is a good thing.
Am using it everyday since i live in dark cold Sweden. Also bought rechargeable batteries because of quite fast power consuption. Batteries last 4-5 hours..
I recommend this headlight!

Well-made with excellent performance
This headlight is of excellent quality and design and produces an impressive amount of light on just 3 rechargeable AAA batteries. The slide-zoom mechanism provides for both long and short distance illumination with excellent wide-angle illumination for the size of the lens. Because the battery pack is at the back it is balanced and comfortable to wear on the head. Some headlights have the battery pack at the front with the light so can slip down due to the weight. This light can be tilted down and has 4 fixed positions. The good thing about this is that the headlight can also be worn upside down around the neck with the light pointing at the ground directly in front of you, great for dark pathways. The light can then be tilted UP for mid to far distance. This is great if you don't want to spoil your hair style or would prefer not to blind anyone that you happen to meet. This headlight is VERY bright and should not be looked at directly.
