There is no SD Card reader. Only USB (Camera) reader. I wanted SD reader... Reasonable price but loose assemble. Already open the case.

Mine looks a bit different from these photos, it does have a separate slot for SD and reads them nice. I've got no big need for USB connection, but what I tried didn't work. The matter may be in iPad inner restrictions, though. It scans the DCIM folder and displays its contents that looks like photos. Here are some tests: 1) SD card from photocamera - perfect. All the photos for you. 2) TF card from phone with photos in wrong folder (via SD adapter) - shows it empty. 3) the same TF card with USB card reader via USB port - not enough power to run. 4) USB flash with selfmade DCIM folder with photos from web - fail ("File storage might be damaged" message) - might be because of exFAT file system... 5) photocamera via USB - fine. It's not very small, but I gues there's no way to make it smaller.
