enhance your tv / dvd-r
This thing is awesome. I had an old one just like it but didn't have sata. When I received this cable I tested it with a sata laptop HD and with a DVD r (making it practically external). Plug-play and voilá!
Then I tried it with the HD in my LCD tv and it read it as it was a pen drive. Amazing.

Just needed a cheap solution for data access
Needed to get data off a friend''s old computer which had died. Removed the HDD and this cable/adaptor kit made accessing the data and retrieving it simple. No frills product - but did the job.

5 in 1 USATA/IDE Cable Power Adapter Converter
Очень нужное устройство ! Есть недостаток , после нескольких минут работы , сильно греется блок питание и срабатывает защита ! Пока не остынет заблокирован. Подключил от другого блока и устройство заработало нормально ! Лучше взять подороже, наверное не будет этих проблем !

useful and pratice
Very useful and practice, but the product quality can be better.
sometimes I have restart the PC or netbook.Some drives SATA no work with this equipment.
But is a good option.

Good product good price
Already runing Linux on my new USB HD with this adapater, no nnd for enclosures (and pay large amount of money for them) to have your drives turned to usb.
