i bought this for my optoma ml300 led projector as it has mini hdmi output i wanted an adapter that i can quickly disconnect with out disconnecting it from the projector side or end of it. with this adapter cable i can disconnect it from the female side of it , this allows me to quickly disconnect the projetor and put it away as i cant keep it out all the time for several reasons . my point being i don't wear out the projectors mini hdmi socket from everyday or so by plug in and plugin out to put it away each time . great adapter cable .
