Well I use this for all my presentations and lecturing activities. Moment I connected to my laptop with Windows 7, it automatically installed it self and started working. You DON'T need to pin point the hand unit to the computer (like most of the other similar devices available). This works in any direction making it easy and convenient to use.
I would seriously recommend you to buy one

Pros:
Very little and portable (fit easily in my 10'' bag), it works very well. Receiver can be joint with presenter and create a single elements that can't be easily lost.
Cons:
Plastic could be better quality. Presenter is a bit too little for big hands, you need some time to get used to (buttons are difficult to be pressed because of the short length in the palm). Could be a little more long to be used in a perfect comfortable way.
