I had one such torch from another store, but it broke within months, so I hoped this one will be better - no luck.
It works, lights and all, but the contact between battery block and lamp is not solid enough, so the light sometimes flickers. Ba careful not to push the battery block too much inside, it will bend the contacts and this cannot be fixed (that is what happened to the previous one).

I was looking for a flashlight that I could stash around the house in case the power goes out and this one is perfect! I ordered three this time and all of them worked perfectly. They are a great compact size and are SUPER bright! I think they will make great stocking stuffers for Christmas!
