I purchased a few of these for when I bring my kids hiking. They love to look at them to see what direction we are heading. Most of the time it works well, but sometimes they get a bit stuck and you have to tap the glass.

Great useful product.
Have used this little compass on many trips very compact give a true reading of north
never had any problems out hiking and map reading.
Great value for money item.

This little thing is such a useful product. I use it as a keyring and it finds the North quite accurately all the time. The little string broke after about two weeks of use, but that was to be expected with normal wear and tear.
