I've been using this on one of our cats that gets a lot of hairballs from her long hair.  It gets out a lot of loose hair, reducing the amount of fur balls.

very nice comb, my cat seems to like it. I thought the brush would be a little softer, but it's fine just as it is.
the comb is translucid, not opaque like the picture, but it makes no difference while using, obviously. the rubber is very flexible, and the adjustment strap on the back makes sure it won't slip. I don't think it will fit bigger hands (mine is small, and fits perfectly).
