well I have my psp100 sometime ago and I am always needing replacements parts, so this conector is great when you start having troubles to charge the psp`s battery.
This time I am posting a small troubleshooting guide in order to determine if you need to buy this part or not. of course you need to know some basic about electronics and you need to have some special screwdrivers if you are playing with the idea of doing yourself.
so first you need to check if your charger is good or faulty so u need to mesure the output voltage using a voltimeter. the charger has to output 5 volts.
if you find 5 volts your charger is good and you need to determine if your battery is good so you need to measure your battery too. it has to have 3.6 volts
if the charger is ok and the battery is ok then you need to replace your conector.
