I have a lot of ear canal earphoes or buds. These don't block all the noise or sounds like my others. I use these when I need to be able to hear but also want to listen to the music. Excellent sound quality. Excellent build, just like the $100+ Bose.
The newer design stays in my ears when I mow the yard or ride a bike. I bought a pair for my brother, a pair for his wife, a pair for my brother-in-law and I have a pair...needless to say, I really like these. The oldest pair is a year old and is holding up very well. I use etymotic's when I want to block out the background noise and these are sonically just as good for a variety of types of music (but I don't listen to much rap...mostly listen to rock and americana types of music.

These earphones feel durable, and the sound quality is OK. Not the best ofcourse, but for most people it's good enough.
Work for my iPhone 4, which is a big plus. These are not imitations of any brand.
Pros: Durable, value for price, design, fair sound.
Cons: I would have liked more earbuds. You receive one extra pair; that's it.
But maybe I'm just spoiled.

Got these pretty fast, however they don't sound pretty good in my opinion. They have impressive bass, recessed mids and recessed treble. Treble could use more detail and the midrange isn't forward and can sound a bit bad. After burning them in they do sound a bit better though and they get a bit more balanced. Oh and the right side has more volume than the left side (which is REALLY annoying but if you have a rockboxed sansa clip you can easily fix it by using the balance setting) They're quite comfortable, can have them in my ears for quite some time and it wont hurt. By the way I bought this when focalprice had a discount on it. I should have bought a Koss KSC75....
