The actual earphones are darker in color. It's a medium magenta rather than light pink, and the polka dots are somewhat poorly printed (can be easily scratched off)
The sound quality is okay.

My daughter loves these earphones. She uses them daily while she watches her movies on her dvd .very easy to take care of and small enough to store anywhere.

Very cute. I bought them for gifts for Easter Baskets, so havent used them yet, but I always like the ear buds that have the soft rubber in ear vs. the hard type. Awesome deal!
