I purchased this to cover a 52mm filter placed on the end of a Panasonic LX3 tube adapter (also purchased here to facilitates filter usage on the LX3). It snaps on tight and has a very long, thin, string loop that should be adjusted for your particular needs.
Pros:
Excellent for what it it is designed for. So far gave no indication of falling of in the bag. I am going to buy the 77mm version of this to place on the end of my larger (and expensive) filters.
I used a needle to pull out the knotted end of the string from the backside of the cap and then cut-and-tied it to the length that was suitable for me. Otherwise, the string would hang roughly 10-12 inches below my camera when uncapped.
