Bought it for my 580ii Ex and it fits perfectly. Tried it out and it diffuses well. Highly recommended for the price.

It's a tight fit for the 580EXII but once it's on (takes a bit of effort) it won't come off easily. Just wish it was easier to put on, meaning you'd better be prepared to spend a good 20-30 seconds, which is a lifetime for photographers.
Pros:
price is tops, does the job, diffuses light well
Cons:
20-30 seconds to attach to a 580EXII (but actually built for 580EX
