It's a great device for my purpose - external SATA connection to my NAS. It works as it should
Pros: USB 3.0 is perfect interface to SATA port inside. Very fast speed. Power supply is green - device turn on only when USB connected to host.
Detected by My Western Digital My Book World Essential Edition Gigabit Ethernet NAS and works flawlessly.
Detected in USB 2.0 mode by my Samsung TV set and plays films from BD images without lags and drops, which was before with my USB-ATA adapter.
Great outside look, stylish black with silver markings.
Cons: Case construction will leave to wish better inside, but it works. Need to be careful when inserting drive, space in the box is really tight.
There is no sound isolation also, just metal case with plastic insert. But on the other hands no one was promised such isolation.
